Hi

Wanting to book a track day at Bedford, anyone had any issues with a standard 718 GT4?

It’s a manual, need to short shift?

Thanks

100% standard 718 GT4 will be fine.
Leave the button alone… it opens valves automatically at higher revs anyway.

I've done Bedford twice in my manual 22' 718 GT4

Been fine both times with the valves open on the stock system, no lifting for noise monitors at any point.

I’ve done Bedford in my 718 GT4 PDK with the valves permanently open. No issues

I don't think you need to worry about a 718 GT4 for noise limits anywhere its so quiet, but that's a good thing.

The sound monitor is at the first corner as you leave the pits so just take it easy there.

That’s one of them. There are 2 or 3 others from memory.

The 718 models are pretty quiet to be honest so you'll be fine. 987/981 are another matter completely though - you'll need to lift in certain sections, especially on cold days.

There's a sound monitor just after the first left hander, which is a shame, as if you're in a loud car it can stop you from attacking the chicane. Also, the small straight before the very tight left hairpin has one too.

As above, though, it won't matter in a 718.
