I wondered if someone with a RHD manual 981 GT4 could have a quick look for me in the frunk under their battery cover and tell me if the pipe coming out of the right side (as viewed from the front of the car) of the brake/clutch fluid reservoir is coming from the top nipple or the bottom nipple.

Mine is from the top (which makes no sense as the fluid level can fall below this) and all others I have seen are on the bottom but all on LHD cars.

Thank you. Snowy - image from LHD car below.

I can see the clutch return pipe tube weeping (so air can get in) and then I asked why it was on the high point and not below the “low” level in the reservoir. I am going to replace the pipe (its a terrible push on job) with a new one, they were subject of a recall in the US during the early part of the 981. Better now than letting a weep of fluid eat/corrode/strip something!!

The pipe on my 981 also failed and caused the clutch pedal to go to the floor and not return back up.
Took it in and a whole bunch of other parts were changed before it was me that actually saw the leak. Mind you it was all done under warranty, so no problem.
