Late 987 or early 981?

Both lovely cars, the white 987 is particularly superb and genuinely as new looking

Spec highlights for me, 987 has proper paddles, sports seats. 981 has Bose and electric seats

I’ve driven both, 987 is sharper, 981 is a bit more grown up and slightly less shuddery. Silver one would need a steering wheel with proper paddles, so another £1k

I’m genuinely 50/50 and would be grateful for any input please lol

How often does one change the seat position? genuine quesion. I get it if sharing a car, but surely once set, for oneself, then are you in dire need to change seat position electronically?

That said, though I am a 987boy, I have reservations about that 987 dealer, every car they sell has 'HUGE SPEC' when most of it is standard fittings anyway.

The 981 14-way seats have far more adjustment with base tilt and under thigh leg extension.

But which car did you prefer when you drove each?

981 looks to have been removed from AT - Sold? Even not seeing the advert a 981 would be my choice, the 987 look so dated from the sides (Spyder excluded)
