Just got back to hotel, wife can’t find her keys to the Cayman, I still have mine. Although they will in all likelihood turn up, other than remove the battery which is a bit of a faff to get to the upper nut on the bracket, is there a fuse or a relay I can pull out that will stop anyone from starting it? I’m assume fuel pump relay, but as is always the way, the manual is at home.
Yes it’s tracked etc, but I just don’t need the hassle.

All help really greatly appreciated.

Might just leave the wife in the car for the night. That would scare anyone away.

I’m assuming the key can be taken off the ECU if it doesn’t show up? I

You mean she isn’t in there now???? FFS man…!

Anything can be done, just gonna cost. Porsche tax.

It’s where she left it I suspect. Just need to think….

Probably in a shop while trying on clothes, unfortunately we only noticed it missing now. Anyway, battery removed and didn’t close the frunk.

Porsche couldn’t fit me in until mid November to have the lost key removed from the ECU, managed to speak to the service manager who can now get it done on Friday.
Wife’s credit card was also used to make a number of small payments yesterday evening so I’d be pretty sure the key is definitely in the wrong hands.

€590 for a new key censored

There has to be a cheaper option than that surely?
