987.1 2.7 service questions

Good Morning

Convinced a friend to buy a Cayman after they used my 911 for a while. As good as this is it now means I'm responsible for maintaining it and fixing it

What oil do people use for theirs. I know everyone raves about millers NT+ for 911's but is this still recommended for the 2.7 Cayman.

Also is there much point fitting a low temp thermostat to the 2.7 or would it be a waste?

Low temp stat is generally considered unnecessary on 2.7 and 3.2. It's only the 987.1 3.4 and M96/7 3.6 and 3.8 911 engines that benefit from it.
