Evo Magazine and the Spyder RS?

What's happened to Evo coverage of the SRS?

Car Magazine have featured a Spyder RS video, so has Matt Farrah and even Seen Through Glass.

But still no Evo content on YouTube.

It is not even in the latest copy of the magazine.

Have they annoyed Porsche and got themselves pushed off the list for time with the car?

Yep. Dickie Meaden drives. I did post on the Spyder RS thread.
He Reckons it’s much better for the road than 4RS, but guess UK outlets are waiting for UK drives.
Either that or they are just now bored.

I must have missed it!

Can't have been much if it is just a single page, and for Car to be doing a 20 minute YouTube piece before Evo seems unusual, given how often eCOTY picks Porsches as winners.

8 page feature in the October issue - pretty comprehensive for a 'first drive'! EVO don't do many videos these days, it's a quality over quantity kind of thing

I don’t think there are many cars around yet for proper test drives, all the coverage seems to be from the journalist event in Germany where it rained.

I’m guessing Porsche GB will have a press car in a month or so? My car is meant to finish build in early Dec, and I believe some OPCs had earlier build slots though mine didn’t. So perhaps customer cars will start to appear in Nov?

Any word on UK numbers for SRS guys, I take it one initial car per OPC or is it more, what about 2024 build numbers?

There will be a few more coming next year. Maybe couple more per OPC.

Thanks. Genuinely interested in the spec you lucky guys have gone for? Ceramics, Buckets, Weissach seeming to be the three main spec choices?
