My Graphite Blue 718 Cayman reg. no. CK17 JYU (WP0ZZZ98ZHS261880) was stolen from a residential parking lot in West London on Monday, 4 September 2023 at around 11:20 am. Jacked up onto rollers and driven off on a White Fiat Ducato tow truck reg. no. BX17 XPM in broad daylight in front of a dozen witnesses.
Although 6 years old, the Cayman was very well maintained and in great condition with only 10k miles on the clock due to COVID and subsequent work abroad. The car had Agate Grey Alcantara interior and 6-speed manual gearbox.
Please report any information, including any parts for sale to the police. Thank you.

1. Do you owe payments on it?Although 6 years old, the Cayman was very well maintained and in great condition with only 10k miles on the clock due to COVID and subsequent work abroad. The car had Agate Grey Alcantara interior and 6-speed manual gearbox.

2. A 10second image search in Google leads me to think the number plate could easily be mistaken for BX17 XPW (a W not a M) which is a repo truck, which is a Fiat.

Surely if the OP was behind with payments he would be well aware of that, he would have had plenty of warnings and if the car subsequently disappeared he would know why.
I'm not really sure your detective work is up to scratch.
Boniface Engineering in Thetford are the manufacturers of the vehicle. Burke Brothers Recovery were the first owners of the vehicle.
I very much doubt that Burke Brothers still own it six years later and it's highly unlikely that they are moving cars in West London with it.
It does sound very repossession-ish though.

All signs point to that truck registered either with that company with it in its gallery of fleet or the company name and number written on the side of it. Either way all signs point to whomever that is registered to.
I don’t see you bringing much to the party.
What a negative place this can be. I give up.

Don't expect the Internet to be kind to you. Don't take it personally. It is just a bit of fun.
But if you don't enjoy it then yes leave.
Ideally find a way to not take it too seriously and shrug off the moaners.

You have no idea where that car is, or who took it there, even if any of your assumptions were anywhere near right, how can you possibly tell the OP the address of where his car is, what proof do you have?

Both the Reg No the OP posted for the truck and the one you came up with are both white Ducato Diesels - so what has that proved?

It is my prediction that the registration of the Fiat that was taken at the time was was wrong and that it ends with a W not an M. That points to two companies associated to a Fiat repossession truck with that registration. You have no idea where that car is, or who took it there, even if any of your assumptions were anywhere near right, how can you possibly tell the OP the address of where his car is, what proof do you have?
Why not put some effort into helping the OP rather than nit-picking in some supercilious matter at my theory. Just keep out of it for the benefit of the OP.
Julian - AToM is correct; you need to chill out if people don't agree with you. And you have made a linked set of assumptions, any one of which may be incorrect. But it was funny.

The OP needs no help. Either the police will find his NOT-repo'd and genuinely stolen car (in which case your assumptions are incorrect), or the repo-company have already been in touch telling him where it is and how much he now owes them if he wants it back.julian987R said:

As for your 'prediction' what makes you think all the witnesses and the OP got the plate wrong but you on the other hand have come up with another probably completely unrelated vehicle that it could be. Why not add BX17 XPN too, which is another white Ducato Diesel, there are more.
If you choose to post nonsense don't be surprised if you get pulled up for it.
Oh, almost forgot, 'you are welcome'

You have posted the address the OPs car is at, justify that, because unless I actually knew something like that for sure (not a wild guess) I would have more sense than to post it, you clearly haven’t.

Its a guess based on a hunch with a degree of humour which seems to have been totally lost on the sour you. We ain't splitting the atom here Bucko. its a hunch, get over it. Christ alive.
