981 GT4 Wheel Bearings
Discussion
Car is currently in OPC for a tweak or 2, health check identified play in O/S/R wheel bearing, and a reminder that additional maintenance on these cars "subject to track use' is wheel bearings every 6k (?!?).
My car has barely seen a track as far as I'm aware, should I be pursuing a warranty claim for this? I'd say any wear on a 24k car is somewhat premature.

Wear and tear parts aren't covered by the extended warranty, so think you'd have no chance going down that route. https://www.porsche.com/international/accessoriesa...

6k Track miles is not the same as 24k miles total use, and really that note is a recommendation for those that use their cars on track a lot. (lawsuit arse covering). It is not intended as guidance for the life of the part.My car has barely seen a track as far as I'm aware, should I be pursuing a warranty claim for this? That said - as Fnumber1user says - its a wear and tear part - so may not be covered under warranty. Definitely ask though.
Also did you get a quote?
