Getting cold feet with my 718 Spyder.....
Discussion
....literally, not emotionally...;-)
It has dual zone climate, but it does not really matter what I set the temperature to, the footwell never gets very warm (this is with the top up).
Selecting "auto sync"(?) or manually with the "down" arrow selected seems to have little effect, with 25 - 26C requested.
I can feel a momentary change in airflow when switching between the above settings, but then it just settles to "nowhere near warm enough"
I have the flow rate set to the mid option on the PCM menu.
Typically I never need to go above 22C with my M3, when set in "auto" mode.
Is this typical of the car, or do I need to get the dealer to check it?

That is interesting.I have not noticed whether the fan is not working (too much noise generally in the Spyder) but I will check it.
If the fan is not working, I would have thought the windows would steam up though?
Going out to have a look right now!

Only if its cold weather. In these summer conditions it's probably near impossible. The glass needs to be cold to allow condensation. Think of your beer bottle or beer glass. If its not really cold it will never get condensation on the outside.... right?ATM said:

The fan is definitely working. But, requesting 28C and still not roasting my feet seems strange.
If I request 22C in my M3, I am more than warm enough.
So.....I asked the dealer to check.
And got the expected answer, unfortunately.
Maybe I need to set the "intensity" to maximum....?
