918 GT4 - Purchased!

So I’ve signed the documents and bought the best car I’ve been lucky enough to drive. In the past I’ve had 2 Boxsters, a Cayman, 911 C2S & GTS. I missed the zingy N/A sixes in the smaller cars, and while the 911 is a comfy ride, the GTS was just uncomfortably loud and rough riding.

The manual GT4 had me grinning from the moment I test drove it. I’m going for a very basic spec, sound system plus, navigation, PDLS Plus, 918 buckets & club sport app, Leather dash. That’s about it.

She’s due some love before I collect. Service, new tyres and cosmetics. Planned collection first weekend in March. Custom plate with my initials and 981 :-)

I’m excited to be getting into a smaller, great sounding and manual Porsche. A lot of travel planned this summer, UK, Italy, France, Nürburgring :-)

If anyone is planning any ring time or drives in Germany this year, I would love to hear from English speaking folks who want driving partners!

Looks great in black, I have similar in white. Hope you love yours even half as much, it is very good at making me smile.

I'd love to be making European circuit time plans, but tough to find time for it just now. I'll remember you asked just in case!
