I would appreciate thoughts on this rear hatch panel gap difference.

No obvious sign of repair, but is this typical?

Thanks!

It's most definately off.

Have a look at this thread on how to adjust. Pretty simple to do but as with anything, take your time.

Tip. Put 2 cloths around the spoiler struts when removing the spoiler screws to prevent them falling down the hole.

Thanks very much.

I’m more thinking the gaps each side if the hatch, being tighter on the left hand side.

Cheers.

In general panel gaps should be pretty consistent however, Porsche have their flaws. My son's £7k Picanto has better build quality in some areas.

As I mentioned in your other post, do a Carvertical check or pay for a full PPI. Well worth the money. If you're buying from an OPC, they are obliged to tell you if it's been repaired. It may also be also worth asking a friend or someone local to you who knows his Porkers, to come and have a look with you. Second set of eyes and not blinkered by giddiness, if you know what I mean.

It doesn't help that the rear wing is out of line but this is pretty common even from the factory. I've had to adjust the rear wing on both my 718s.
