Boxster delivery wait

I'm just about to ask the dealer what the anticipated delivery time on a new Boxster is, but in advance of that, does anyone here have recent knowledge?

A. Turbo’d 4 pot will be much quicker than a gts 4.0

Just get the answer straight from the horses mouth .... and phone around because you may get lucky and jump in on a cancellation, as I did for my Cayman

Apparently, dealers are now only taking orders for the Style edition as lead-time on straight cars goes past final production date. Style edition seems to be an extra £5k just for wheels and graphics.

From what I'm told it's an 18 month wait for a Boxster GTS however some dealers are not even taking orders now.

As mentioned, you may well get the Style edition Boxster before then but who knows!
