My GTS is shortly due to be locked down.

Any advice on which style of PDK selector to spec? The configurator isn't particularly clear when showing the differences.

There appear to be three no cost options. The standard with racetex or leather and the Aluminium.
Interior trim will be standard GTS seats with Racetex and "Extensive items in leather", trim is upgraded to the brushed aluminum.

Many thanks in advance.

Looking at your spec, I can't see an option to have a leather PDK selector? It currently has a race-tex version and you can select a no-cost option of brushed aluminium.

Your choice of leather steering wheel has overwritten the interior package race-tex version, which would match the PDK selector. If it was me, I'd stick with the race-tex steering wheel.

If you want a leather steering wheel and PDK selector, I think you need to select the race-tex delete option?

Normally when you select the leather wheel the PDK ( or MT gaiter ) change to leather automatically .

The anomaly with this change is that if you have a contrast stitched interior that is deleted for the wheel and gaiter unless you delve into the stitching options in the leather options and pay £££ .

Personally I would stick with racetec

It's not the gaiter I was looking at, more the sides of the selector itself.

But that's a good point about the stitching.

Thanks for the input gents.

No "deviant" stitching, so that obstacle isn't present.

It appears as though the brushed option just replaces the dimples either side of the selector with a brushed ally disc. Pic pinched from the configurator below, you'll have to use your imagination and swap the RaceTex for leather!

Yours won't be leather though, it will be race-tex as above, due to the overall interior package that you've specced?

Race-Tex interior with extensive items in leather, Black

Smooth-finish leather: dashboard upper section including airbag cover, airbag module, instrument shroud, door panel upper sections, centre console side sections, seat bases, seat bolsters and headrests, and side stripes of centre console main storage compartment lid.

Black Race-Tex: dashboard lower section including glove compartment cover, steering wheel rim, gear lever, seat centres, door pulls, door centre panels, door panel armrests and centre of centre console main storage compartment lid. Door panel trim strips in Silver colour. "GTS" logo embroidered on headrests

You've then switched the wheel, but not the gear selector, by adding:

GT sports steering wheel

Sports-style steering wheel, diameter: 360 mm, airbag module in black. Steering wheel rim in smooth finish leather.

I’d just get whatever is cheapest and then buy and fit this.

At least it's not yet another moan about unfair GTx allocation processes or a discussion on current/future values yes

Many thanks for all the constructive input gents. It clearly isn't blindingly obvious what all the options are but you've brought clarity.

Tedblog: That is the costed option (£159) is currently ex-stock and can delay delivery.

I like the general style of the PDK selectors, slightly old school which fits with the general interior design imo.

The GT3 selector is currently £533 from 911Design

and I'll guess you need a new gaiter and trim surround too?

I had it as a factory option not an accessory.

Sorry, my lack of clarity. It is an option on the Configurator, £159 I think, whilst the other versions are No Cost variants on the more normal selector.

You do, I bought a gaiter, trim and a bracket for mounting the console buttons (they are attached to the aluminium effect gaiter as standard) from Suncoast Porsche. I appreciate it’s not cheap and in the big scheme of things is just a frippery but it feels soooo much nicer, especially if you’re using the stick to change ‘manually’. Porsche should have offered it as a cost option.
