Hi guys, could anyone please tell me which dashboard lights are supposed to illuminate on a 987.2 when the ignition is switched on? I've checked the driver's manual but all it says is that the warning lamps should be illuminated, it doesn't specify which ones.

On my car there are three lights which do not illuminate with the ignition switched on and I am not sure if they are supposed to light up or not:

-Airbag warning light
-Tyre pressure warning light (this confuses me because I am quite sure that my car is not fitted with a tyre pressure monitoring system, yet the outline of the light is still on the dashboard). Perhaps the same dashboard was used both for cars with and without the system equipped?
-There is an outline of a light in the speedometer gauge (just above the cruise control light) which appears to be a warning that traction control is turned off (the image depicts two skid-marks with "off" written underneath, yet the only light that illuminates with PSM off is the central PSM light.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all.

Here’s a picture of mine. This is before the engine is turned on.

987.2 doesn’t include TPM, I believe this was an optional extra. The later cars (981) had them once the EU mandate came in.

Thank you! Any idea why there are two traction control lights? The one in the speedometer is there in my car but won't light up either with the ignition on or with traction control turned off.

PSM light on the left illuminates when PSM is turned off.

Illumination on the tachometer indicates a failure or problem with the system. This is according to the manual, which also says there is a lamp check on the cluster as part of the ignition sequence. Perhaps the lamp has failed on the left cluster?
