Just wondered how long people are having to wait to get their Porsche fixed and get a courtesy car whilst it's in?

I have a relatively minor brake issue that renders the car unusuable. After some pressure, I have been told the earliest they can look at the car is 28th December and provide a car. (It was originally 14th January - today is 13th December).

Given I have already been without the car for nearly a week whilst they faff and that the issue has been absolutely caused by a two year service interval item not being carried and has 100% caused an issue, I'm a bit narked.

Had the Cayman 981 GTS for 4 months from an OPC so a bit miffed that they expect me to have no car for at least 3 weeks more.

Common for all makes. My wife’s A3 cabrio needs a front bumper/grille and bonnet after a sheet of metal flew up in front of her. Happened in late October, booked in for repair on 1st Feb!
Insured with Aviva so not a bargain basement insurer - local garages here (North Essex) have long waiting lists and the car is still drivable so not a priority case. Doesn’t look nice though and don’t feel this is reasonable but what can you do?

Yep. Totally common.I booked my son's kia in for a service back in July and they didn't have an available slot for a drop off (no loaner needed) for 3 months!

Seems to be par for the course at the minute.
