Looks like a real bargain, nicely undercutting a base i4 Emira.

My efforts: http://www.porsche-code.com/PPCSAFJ0

Presume has a sizable lead time…

Tge Lotus blitzes the Cayman on all important power though.

PS. I like Caymans btw especially the GT4.

Is this the parts bin special run out model?

Not entirely sure what the point is beyond some different colours.

Probably not just yet, unless they have a load of white wheel paint in the parts bin. wink I'm trying to remember if anyone here producing Porsche codes is someone I remember as a 4-cylinder Cayman/Boxster cynic when I was ordering my first one back in 2016. Luckily I'm old enough that I don't have a cat-in-hell's chance due to senior moments, but I've bought yet another 4-pot turbo 718 since, and I still like them!

Kind of hoping they might build the 4.0 GTS I've ordered before they make too many of them. I don't love the "Style Editions" now, but they'll probably grow on me. No offence meant to codes and specs offered in this thread. It seems there are a healthy number that, like me, admire the technology of PDK, but can't bring themselves to put it onto a spec sheet. Not sure what's wrong with us, but it's healthy to be able to admit that we can only order manual gearbox cars.

Personally not a fan of these models… but Porsche are masters at creaming the market.

Also have to say great way, to p!ss off PTS buyers that paid crazy money for Rubystar cars… a version of Rubystar (neo) is now available as a special colour for £1,658, and everyone will order it.

IMO, no.

IMO, the start of the 718 running-out, yes, as they try to eek the last bit of life from the 718 as a filler until the electric Cayman appears.

First glance on the configurator and these actually look quite good value for money over the base model considering the extras you get as standard and if you go for a "normal" colour and get the wheels in silver or black for no additional cost. You can also remove the stripes and stickers if you want to normalise it even further.

I think the GT4 wheels look good on it in silver - not so sure about the other colours.

Would presumably be easy to get it to look like a GT4, to the uninitiated eye at least, for a fraction of the cost... laugh

Absolutely mental to spend £80k on one, but as said before £55k gets you a good spec. and would make a great daily with pretty low running costs.
