So, my first challenge is understanding how to book the Silverstone experience.

I cannot see anywhere on the my.porsche.com website where I do this. I this something I need to arrange through my OPC.

My second challenge is my car has just changed status from 3 to 4, so my vehicle is produced. I got an email from Porsche saying:

"As an expression of our gratitude, we are delighted to share with you an exclusive insight from the production line in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen"

I'd assumed this would mean that there are pictures somewhere of my car being produced, but I can't see anything. Does anyone know if this is the case - am I looking in the wrong area or does this statement mean something else completely?

Thanks

You normally get sent an invitation to book your Silverstone experience in the post. It includes all of the booking instructions etc..

The last couple of time I've called the PEC directly to book in a few months after placing the order and deposit.

Doing this has the added attraction of confirming you have an order with your OPC as I believe they indirectly pay for the experience and have to provide the order information to the PEC before the slot can be booked wink

I had my last 2 PEC experience invitations by email directly from the PEC.

It all starts with your OPC and salesperson. If they are on the ball and upload all your details onto the Porsche system then you should get something.

I'd give them a call.

I'd got a PEC lite day (half a session) for Christmas so once I'd got the email and voucher code I called the PEC to arrange a date. My partner booked the Cayman. It turns out the Cayman GTS 4.0 is extra. So duly stumped up the extra and organised a time.

In a bizarre twist of fate, while waiting to go into the Silverstone Museum I got the mail from Porsche saying "Go do your PEC day".

The details you need are I'm the mail (namely the reference number).

Call the PEC and organise your day.

That was pretty much it. I stated I wanted to share the day with SWMBO and I wanted the same instructor I had last time.

All sorted over the phone.

Hope this helps
