My Spyder has been ‘unmade’

Not sure if anyone else has had this. MyPorsche showed my car was stage 5 - produced - which was great as it had been delayed by several months. It even showed me photos of the car being made etc - so was getting very excited.

My OP told me on Friday my car was still showing as planned for production and when I went back on to MyPorsche today it shows the car is back at stage 3 ‘planned for production’

Anyone else having this? Wondering if I will ever get the car!!

….. yep my GT4 moved back to Stage 3 last week after being at Stage 4 for a couple of weeks. OPC saying it’s due to leave factory on Oct 19th but wouldn’t bet on it …

My Cayman GTS is due to leave the factory on 18th October according to my OPC, but the tracker shows it’s only at stage 3.

Same with my GT3. Stage 5 >> 3.

Sounds like it's a Bose issue amongst other things.

My spyder is still showing as stage 3 but took a call from the dealer today to say that it’s now built and heading to the port. Should land here in a few weeks, just in time for winter…not that I’ll care once I see it.

It’ll be worth the wait - I waited 3 years for mine ( hanging on for PDK). Had it for 15 months now and still find myself going to the garge just to look at it!

My car has now been re made and after waiting at port for 3 weeks is now on a boat - so probably by now in Grimsby.

Hopefully be picking up in a week or so!!

Hope you guys have seen progress but personally my Oct 12th factory exit is now Nov 4th estimated. I wonder where they sideline these partially build cars, must be building up …..

Mine has slipped by a week every week for something like the last six weeks. In theory it's due for completion tomorrow, but am not holding my breath.

And yes, I was also wondering how significant the build up must be getting.

Very frustrating for all experiencing delays, I was told today that a 'Bose shortage' is causing delays in cars being dispatched.

Checked mine online today and still at stage 3 despite being told last week by the dealer it has been built and waiting to be shipped. Half expecting a call this week to tell me it has not actually been built, but hopeful of collection from Reading later this month.
