Hey PH - hoping someone can clear something up for me.

Do all 981 GTS' include the Auxillary Bluetooth option? This is something that looks like it has to be enabled within the PCM AUX settings.

Just not sure if it requires the phone prep or not. Believe that option enabled bluetooth syncing for the phonebook & ability to make phone calls via PCM

I can't remember for sure, but it may have only come as part of one of the PCM upgrades (nav or CDR Plus). I don't think the base PCM had it?

Or it only came with the phone preparation option, which is possibly more likely given that's a Bluetooth connection as you say.

There was an option for phone prep I believe on all 981s. I remember PCM, DAB, Phone Prep being separate options. My memory is really bad.

Found this as it was bugging me, does show Telephone module for PCM.

Thank you for that - it seems phone preparation might be the one needed but there is no description. The info on the Porsche website relates to the current generation of cars so cannot be too sure if this was the same on 981, although one would presume not much has changed

Bluetooth was not standard on the 981, whether it was on the GTS though I'm not sure.

I remember going to look at a 918 Cayman at an OPC that was priced significantly less than it shoulde be. The reason no mobile phone prep. The salesman told me he had 100+ calls for the car that fizzled to nothing once they found out no Bluetooth. That said when I turned up to look at it, they'd managed to sell it.
