My immaculate cayman S got vandalised (with several other cars in the street) last night-snapped the rear wiper off,and gouged the paintwork down to bare Mattel on the boot lid.s.
None of our bloody cameras picked this up ffs.
Heard a Big Bang last night at 1 am,jumped out of bed ,couldn’t see anything,didn’t even notice when I left for work.
Wife phones later to tell me what’s happened.
I’m lucky the prick must have legged it before attacking my Cooper S aswell.
What I’d like to know is -can this be repaired by a smart repair guy,or will the whole panel have to be sprayed?

If you've got a local independent bodyshop, they are likely to be not much more than a smart repair.

I'd try a touch up and wet sand by a detailer first.
Before respraying the whole panel.
