Air con

My 2 month old GT4’s air con is taking over 5 mins to get cold, even when set to max. For multiple minutes it’s just blowing out warm air. I appreciate its super hot at the moment but my wife’s Lexus starts shipping ice cool air from the vents in about 40 secs.

I spoke to the dealer who didn’t seem to know if that’s normal or not, which isn’t very reassuring…

Can any owners on here confirm how theirs is performing ?

Great question - I am still waiting for the manual to be provided by OPC

The full manual is available via the Porsche Good To Know App - download that and have a look through. If you have climate control then yes there do appear to be settings which can be changed via the multi function display

I had an issue with the aircon that was similar to this

One of the units was faulty. Get the dealer to take a look

It should be totally fine. I did have an experience in the week where I thought it was happening again, but I just turned the ignition off, then turned the car back on and stuck it on max AC. It was back in no time

Mine isn’t anywhere near as cold as my old GTS, but it’s cold enough I guess and I live in Scotland where it would freeze the c0ck off a snowman most of the year…. I’ll get them to check it if it ever needs to go in prior to its first service, but I was unimpressed compared to the ice cold from the 981..
