718 GT4 Service Intervals

I have been having issues with "My Porsche" app and one of the apparent errors was counting down mileage to next service based on 20k mile service intervals. It turns out that the Porsche website and documentation that show 12k miles are wrong and the app is correct (i.e. 20k miles).

All been confirmed by Porsche Germany... amazing, I wonder if any 718 GT4s have been serviced before it was really necessary?

Not for what Porsche charge. Plus if they say an engine can go 2yrs/20k miles I’ll stick with that and not waste money.

Exactly, my OPC even said the same.

As for the 20k vs 12k interval, as if anyone with a GT4 is going to do 20k in less than two years!

A minor service costs basically £1k so the less frequent the better ..

Had the 6 year service done on my 981 GT4 earlier this year. Think it was around £1300 from memory. I don't recall the 4 year service as being too over-priced either. For "supercar junior" ownership, I'm pretty impressed with value for money in servicing and general reliability overall. I still remember friends with Ferraris back in the mid-90s avoiding using their cars too much because the next service was going to be £2000. That was back in the days when £2000 was the price of a half-decent hot hatchback.
