Annoying rattle/zizzing from dashboard drivers side 981 GT4

Hi all
Dashboard area, drivers side.
Over smooth tarmac, quiet as a mouse. Over anything else, there is a really annoying zzzy noise.
It’s not a full blown rattle. Driving me nuts. Any ideas at all?

Could be the door card not the dash, I had something similar on my 981 GTS.

Try opening the storage compartment lid behind your right ear.
Yes, sounds odd, but I had a sizzling noise I could swear came from the front of the driver's door.
That's what it turned out to be, that lid.

Club Sport package? The noises aren't necessarily coming from where you think they are, but most in my 981 GT4 are associated with the cage and harnesses. I did have a really annoying one from within the driver's side door. Caused by paint shop (Porsche approved, and they made a great job of the paint), corrected by OPC at very reasonable additional cost during 6 year service. Broken trim clip.

Wasn't there a thread on here with something similar (?) and the suggestions were to check if there was something loose rattling around in the battery area.

Had a quick dig around for the thread but I couldn't find it.

I had this too.

I had a similar noise in my 987.1. Turned out it was the collection of keys jangling together on my fob in the ignition!
