987.2 upgrades
Discussion
Hi All
About to pull the plug on a Boxster 987.2 S and have a few questions.
1. I would like to lower the suspension to that of the the Spyder/R. Is it 15mm or 20mm the preferred and best place to get springs from experience? I understand they need to be linear to be compatible with PASM?
2. Steering wheel - I would like to upgrade to a Sport wheel but does anyone have any knowledge of fitting a later 718 wheel? Problem looks like trying to source one...
3. The car has an upgraded soul cat back exhaust. Would a remap compliment this nicely or would it be worth adding a larger plenum/throttle body to get more Bhp? (My father has a 718 Spyder so I need to try and keep up with him as best I can)
Many thanks
Chris

Hi Chris,
It's Porsche only for the R springs as far as I know, I recently bought a set. Be careful as there are slightly different versions (Spyder/Cayman/PDK/manual).
They are not cheap but the aftermarket ones are listed as -35mm drop (-25mm from PASM ride height?) which was too much for me.
I fitted B8's with them.
Cheers,
Dunc.
