Which do you think would be a better buy financially? 45k 981S or a 50k 718S?

Where will they be in 5 years time?

Anyone claiming to know the answer will be guessing...

Newer car's generally - but not always - are worth more (everything else being equal, condition, spec etc etc).

There's very few guarantees in life. Why worry, get whatever you prefer - test drive as many of each as you are able, and enjoy.

A lot can happen in 5 years.
