Has anybody found a storage solution that can utilise the large and unused space either side of the rear boot?

I'm taking part in some road trips this year and what to carry spares as well as a first aid kit without consuming the more usable space. The area in by the rear lights seems ideal for this and hoping someone's found something that fits nicely in that space.

Will look to velcro/anchor whatever I use to stop it moving around but can come up with my own solution for that.

Please let me know if you have any thoughts or recommendations

I used those gaps for walking boots and camera bags. Wedged in place by a suitcase.

Something like this perhaps to secure items into in those areas?

Thanks but what I’m after is something that could fit in the corners of the rear boot. There’s so much space behind the rear light cluster that’s be great to utilise (not just on the road trips). Was hoping there was either a Porsche or after market bag that would fit that space

Ah yep I get that, just figured to share some links of ways to maximise space.
I think the boot liner could help as it covers all those two recessed areas and gives you something to plug into as such.

I think the space shape is closest to a bum bag isn’t it, so maybe something like an extra large utility bum bag like this…

Multifuction Tactical Waist Bag Backpack Shoulder Bag Molle Military Wasit Pack Fanny Pack Bumbag for Outdoor Running Walking Camping Hiking Trekking https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07FXBCZGR/ref=cm_sw_r...

That to me looks like the right shape. With knowledge of the dimensions I am sure a extra large bum bag will be the answer

When we did 2 week euro trips in our 981 (which is smaller behind the lights than 987's) we used to just stuff smaller items, such as shoes, hats, kagouls, etc, in these areas.
