one heck of a spec on this....

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284625572596

and a lime gold interior with matching dash stitching too.

No affiliation to the auction, just looked a rather special 981 and thought to share on.

Love that, just shows what Porsche Management are able to spec with that interior.

I heard from my OPC that someone asked for a non available interior colour for their Boxster and Porsche quoted them £30K !

An absolute Christmas tree of a car loaded with something like 25k of options. So I just bought it.

Had PSE on my 987, so might have a think about adding a 'loud button' in time.

When ordering my 1.2 Touring I enquired swapping leather for Alcantara interior (as in the winged 3) and Porsche quoted GBP 15k...

Very true, they are gaspingly expensive when you think a manual would have been 40k new in 2014.

During the past 18 months I've been lucky to make £10k selling a couple of cars bought in lockdown to dealers (through Wizzle). I'd have very happily paid 30k for it pre-Covid, and with the shortage of chips and components it doesn't look like demand will be satisfied and prices will adjust drastically any time soon.

I could be wrong and lose my shirt in 24 months, but I feel it's all relative and evened out somewhere along the line.
