I am looking to purchase another Boxster and really want a manual Gen II, 987 3.4 S manual. I understand some people regard this as the ultimate Boxster. However, I very rarely see these on the market. What should I expect to pay for an example with sub 60k mileage?
there are 9 Gen II, 987 3.4 S manual boxsters on AT. Budget £30k, though you may find a spec you like at the minimum range at £25K which is where the 60k milers are at. julian987R said:

Well I guess 6 isn’t too bad as a selection, there are some very nice Gen 2 versions available currently. Yep it’s circa £25k to £30K. I haven’t been following them to know if they are on the rise and highly sought after but if your budget is around that mark you’ll find a nice one. Good luck with the hunt and purchase.
…and to answer the question, I think the ultimate version is the 70th Anniversary Porsche Classic Special Edition
