987.2 S with sport cat manifold
Discussion
Hi all,
I'm considering changing the OEM manifolds for a set of sports manifold with 200 cell cats. I have a PSE so have some adjustment over volume.
Firstly do I need a remap or will I get the pre swap levels of performance without a remap?
Is the level of noise with the PSE valves closed same or more compared to OEM with PSE open?
I have no other engine modifications and don't plan to, I probably will get a remap if I do make the upgrade however I have trackday a few days after I get the car returned to me so I don't want to break any noise restrictions or have a car that's performing sub par without a remap.

If you want to optimise the improved flow available from the 200cell cats, you should have the car re-mapped. Whilst you will get a horsepower increase solely with their fitment, the re-map will ensure you get the maximum increase.
