Most people who will be getting the first cars would have submitted spec and had confirmation by now.
My understanding is that first cars will be delivered around March/April, with second cars going into production around April/May.
A few dealers will possibly get a 3rd car but that isnt certain yet!

I spoke to my local OPC about this on behalf of a friend a couple of weeks ago, as my own latest was just arriving. They had one car allocated for launch, but thought they may only get one more allocated for year 2. They felt the "not limited in numbers" announcement might have been a bit misleading, because they are not in a position to take an order (which might mean they have someone very much lined up for car 2)
The friend that I asked on behalf of lives in another part of the country. He called his nearest OPC the following weekend, and they claimed not to have any allocation at all, but already have a queue of expressions of interest into double figures.
I think they'll be pretty thin on the ground.

If the first two cars per OPC are getting produced by the end of Q2 next year, and the production run is a couple of years, then surely they're getting more than two cars!
maybe fewer cars for the UK given they make less money in Euros on a UK car than a EU car? Plus fewer cars in theory increases marketing effect, bun fight, number of Taycan orders to get up the list etc. ....You could be right.
Based on what some of the guys are saying in the US first year will be very low and second year will be a lot more!
Basing predictions on GT3 though, even 2022 allocations are pretty low. I've heard most opcs will get between 6-10 cars split between winged and touring!
Will they be building GT3 into 2023?

This is my understanding also as in one car per dealer for April/May build to start with. Then maybe another one later in the year. Liam
Yep, pal of mine has a confirmed allocation which is the first and only car his dealer has a build slot for (april/may ‘22 PTS build) which he has had to submit his spec and deposit for. That’s from a Porsche owned dealer. My OPC have been told to expect only 1 car for 2022 and no indication when in 2022 the build slot is, so until they know that they won’t decide which lucky customer gets it. Seems very very low numbers, initially at least. The upside is that it should weed out the flippers.

I don't know of anyone who's getting one, they seem very hard to come by
I caught up with a friend yesterday, he's currently in a dispute with his dealer as they said he was going to get one (verbally) but they didn't come through. He's so annoyed that he's vowed to never buy another porsche againI think he was a little naive tbh
