UK 987 Boxster Spyder Colours
Discussion
According to stuttcars.com the Spyder was available in:
Carrara White, Cream White (Special color), Platinum Silver Metallic, Guards Red, Aqua Blue Metallic, Black (Basalt Black Metallic and darker non-metallic both were available)
I’ve only seen white, silver, black and red for sale in the UK.
Does anyone know the UK colour breakdown, and if any of the other colours made it here.
Thanks in advance.

From the 987 brochure;
Though GT Silver was also available in Uk. Platinum and Arctic silver has also appeared on non PTS cars, but I think only in North America.
Always gutted Speed Yellow wasn’t a standard option but was available on the Cayman R. Nearly went PTS but felt paying extra on a ‘standard’ colour at the time was a bit much. Though I’d have a very rare example now, one of 3 in the world!
Only known PTS 987 Spyders; Speed yellow, Meteor grey, Riviera blue and Azure blue.
I believe these are just North American figures, but the colour trend reflects the other markets also;

I love my standard silver 987.2 Spyder - over 127,000 miles now - it is EPIC
Good going, had mine on its first track outing, WOW what a car.Took a few people out and the comments were "I can feel the suspension working" which they meant in a good way as the car was just giving so much feedback even to the passenger.
Turned the PSM off and was able to get some really nice angles, the chassis control is northing short of perfection and the steering feel delightful, huge fun on road and track.

Am I right in thinking worldwide number for the 987 Spyder were circa 1900? Does anyone know how this compares to the numbers for the 981 GT4 and Spyder models?
2500 981 GT4's 2400 981 Spyders
Though I saw a post by Porsche on Facebook or Twitter recently which had the figure at around 1600. But I can’t find that post again.
