Oth those tyres have the same speed rating.
They have a different load rating though.

Hey - Yes just seen that and generally seems to be accepted that its ok to go higher in load not lower. Just checked for warranty purposes.

Which model Boxster e.g. 981; 718?
What diameter wheels and width of tyres front and rear?

Different width front rear will often have differing load index e.g. 88Y front, 95Y rear.

I'd advise sticking to load index spec of OE tyres if under warranty.
If it was supplied with 88Y you'll find 88Y out there. Let us have a look for you, with the above info.

Hi. It’s for the front tyres. 235 35 r20.
981. I assume it’s ok because OPC was offering them.
Most tyres for that age of car are now discontinued.

Same as my 981 20's.

The michelin website confirms the front fitment is 88Y...

But then they seem only to supply 92Y as you say...

As this IS their N0 spec tyre for your car all seems to be in order. I'll go check my PS4S fronts are the same...

...just checked and my PS4S N0 fronts are 92Y, rears 99Y (spec is 95Y)

That would be super useful as I could only find the 92y on the n0 rating

All good to go PS4S 92Y front, as that IS Porsche N0 spec for these tyres.

When the rears need changing, 99Y PS4S is Porsche spec.

What do you have on the rears now? Not changing them to PS4S also, at the same time?

There's £100 cash back from Michelin currently on 4 x 20" tyres.

Currently got Goodyear’s with a good 6mm of tread on them. I got the two PS4S tyres with 15% off from black circles.

Trying to resist changing the rear.

I think you still get £50 cash back for 2 tyres. Saw a flyer in my tyre dealer yesterday.
