GEO alignment - South East
Discussion
If Center Gravity is within a two hour drive I’d spend a day taking the car there….there’s Geo alignment and there’s CG. I live a two hour drive and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Have had Geo done on three cars this year…one by RPM and two by CG. The cars done by CG felt markedly different and the whole process is so thorough and well explained it is ridiculous.

^^^^^^ This.I do mine for £77 an hour including corner weighting and no more than 2 hours.
You guys over thinking what is a simple process.
If you know what you want re alignment specs then just set it to a reasonable less aggressive track setup and off you go. If you drive a lot ie tyres wear out before 4 years then use factory. if you only do sunday drives and odd track day, just use the method above. Corner weighting is optional BTW.
I am too poor a driver to go into minutia.

YepCustomers I know have had positive experiences.
RPM could never get my 996 geo right.
Ben at String Theory transformed the car. Really brilliant.
When the car was on standard suspension, Blackboots/ Wheels-in-motion did a good job (also cheap and quick).
Centre Gravity has always been far from me, but if i had not found String Theory i would have bit the bullet and gone.
After getting it wrong a few times, i now believe a good geo, adapted to your kind of driving, is one of the most important things to do with a Porsche, and very few know how to get it right (or have the patience i guess). There are a few names that come up again and again like CG, Fern, etc. I would urge you to invest the time and money to get it right.
