Hi all, my 987 Boxster has developed a rattle from the rear when driving over bumps or rough surfaces. It sounds like it comes from low down, and not suspension related. I thought perhaps a loose heat shield. Any other thoughts?
My old boxster 987.1 had a tinny rattle from the rear. It was from one of the aluminium heat shields that look as though they are made from a Baco foil basting tray.. I just pushed it away from the exhaust and all was sorted.
