I am loving my new Boxster GTS 4.0, but am regretting my stinginess in not getting painted roll over bars, despite it having all sorts of other more than arguably unnecessary stuff...

Can anyone help me sort this out - I am wondering if there is anywhere than can either paint them or wrap them to match. Has anyone done this who can recommend someone who knows what they are doing?

Hampshire or Surrey based preferably.

Many thanks!

If you want gloss black, then there's an existing OEM Part no you can buy: 98204480020

i think you should dwell on it a bit longer....

i actually prefer it unpainted. the CGT painted roll hoop is such that it breaks up the long rear deck, in the boxster this is unnecessary. i would leave it as is. trust me, in a few years you might think of it differently if you don't now.

Agree, why bother it adds very little.

Thanks all - you may be right. In the absence of any suggestion how to do it, I will live with a a bit longer.

Personally, I like the idea of a matching painted hoop and have it on my Boxster. Not sure I would pay extra for it now though as I included it in the build and it seemed a stupid price even then. YMYC

take it this way. i had a 987 spyder and had painted roll hoops. i didn't think ti added anything

on the 718 spyder that i spec. i left it out. unnecessary and an unadorned rear deck is lovely. we are all suckers for add-ons but sometimes less is indeed more

Personal preference but I think painted hoops look miles better.

A couple of people on Boxanet have had theirs painted, the parts can be removed and just get a paint shop to paint them for you.
