Hi everyone

I have put a deposit down today and was wondering if anyone has gone for the leather interior over the Race-Tex? If so, why and are you happy with your choice. I am thinking of going the leather route as the car will mainly be used for touring. Many thanks.

I nixed the GTS interior and went full leather & 18-way seats on my 2015 GTS as it is my daily and used for touring so I wanted heated/cooled/adjustable seats. I am also not a big fan of alcantara. I have absolutely no regrets and can easily spend all day in the seats on a long drive (e.g., Toronto to Atlanta). Try both and pick the one you like best, but I find the ability to adjust the seats slightly while underway a blessing given a lifetime of desk work. The heating/cooling is also great in summer / winter in a convertible.

Yep I have ordered all leather and not bothered with the GTS pack, because that’s the only bit of the GTS pack I wanted. I am personally not too keen on Alcantara. I also went with leather for the wheel.

Did you go for the two tone extended leather or just a plain colour?

On my Boxster 4.0 I went full leather, black dash, beige seats. Done because pale beige seats don't get as hot in the sun as black seats.

Yes, i've gone for extended leather (black) as i don't like the furry feel of Race-Tex (Alcantara) and don't think it wears as well as leather.

Still awaiting my build slot frown Hopefully I'll get this before the end of the year.

I’m leaning towards full leather too and the multifunctional steering wheel.

Excellent choice, I’ve spec’d the multi-function wheel and the carbon interior and Bose.

I’ve gone a little mad on options. But you only live once.

Yep. Two tone Bordeaux / black with the leather dash. Also added multifunction steering wheel in leather and Porsche emblem on he headrests. I left the alcantara roof lining though which I like.

I added the leather steering column and so glad I did. I now don’t really have any cheap looking plastic in my eyeline.

I also deleted the alcantara and went for the no cost leather. It is a matter of personal taste, I think. Some people like alcantara, I simply wouldn't have bought the car if I'd had to have it. I detest the stuff. I didn't make any other interior options and it feels fine to me. The only thing I regret is in deleting the alcantara, it doesn't delete it from the roof/A pillars. So you can delete that separately (which I didn't do alas). My car is Carrara White metallic, black interior, silver wheels

From what I understand the roof lining in fabric is a no cost option.
