Newbie stereo question....

Having had my Boxster for nearly a week I have a (hopefully) simple question about the stereo.
It a totally standard CDR22 head unit with a CD changer in the boot and I was wondering if there is any way of hooking it up to my iPhone?
I don't really want to change the head unit as I kind of like the originality of the car (it's 13 yrs old and pre dates iPhones I think) but would like to have my cheesy tunes to hand.
Any ideas please......?

I have a 987.1 cayman S and would like to do the same thing (attach the iphone to it) but I have never seen a USB port in the car so perhaps this wont do for my car. Anyone know otherwise?
