Any Yorkshire members willing to demo their Cayman?

Hi,

Seriously considering a Cayman S, prob 2006 vintage.

Hoping their is someone local to me (York) that wouldn't mind showing me round their car and taking me for a short demo drive?
I have looked at one at Porsche but always feel a bit cheeky when I'm just gleaning info and not really interested in that particular car.

Can show you a 987 Boxster S if you ever venture any further north than York as am just a bit further up the A19, but there must be someone with a Cayman nearer you who will oblige...

I am in Lincoln and could show you over a 2011 Cayman (not S).
However, I would pester your local OPC. That is what they are paid for, just choose your time carefully (not 20 mins before closing or Saturday afternoons. So if the dealership is quiet, then they have time to talk.
That way you can probably get to drive a late 987 Cayman S with and without PDK, etc and discuss your preferred options.

Then, as in my case, you can choose to seek out your ideal car in the OPC network (price, options, etc) with 2 year OPC guarantee - or walk away. I ended up with a reduced base line Cayman with almost no options as an ex-display model in the last week of July when they were thinking about the bonus for reaching their sales quotas....
