Hi all,

My aircon went a month or so ago, hissing noises etc. I had the system recharged and the noise went away, however within a week it was back. So with some investigation it seems it is likely to be the condensers.

So I ordered a couple of Europarts replacements and read that changing them is a piece of cake so I decided to take this on following these instructions

http://www.planet-9.com/reviews/service-items/p102...

All was going great and I removed all of the correct screws etc - until I got to the two bumper removal clips that sit between the headlights and the boot space.

Both of these were stiff so I blasted on a little wd-40. The right hand side popped off, the left, I pushed and pulled and sprayed more wd-40 a it slid a little but just would not slide all the way. After around 10-15 mins of fighting this bloody "fixing device" (as porsche call it) I started looking at the clip I had removed and working out what could be stopping the Le hand from sliding out

It is hard to describe what has happened but the middle of the fixing device seems to slide behind another part meaning it is impossible to remove. The clip absolutely will not budge and therefore I can not remove the bumper.

I have searched for known issues but this one is an unknown

I was wondering if anyone has had problems with this clip? If so how did you resolve?

Thanks in advance

Neil
