Ok so it's not a S and it don't have many toys bolted on but I really like it. I think the spec is financially sensible and this is what I went for. Cayman PDK in Sapphire blue with leather seats, rear park assist, Boxster S wheels, sport tail pipe, phone prep, sports design steering wheel and wheel centres. The PDK is simply the dogs nuts! how can they make them that smooooth?

The OPC in Solihull were great, did everything they said they would and were really professional from initial inquiry to handover.

I'm no photographer but here she is..

Enjoy it, lovely colour and wishing you many happy miles.

I picked up a 981 Cayman a couple of weeks ago and have been really impressed so far.

Enjoy! You don't need to spend a fortune on these cars - they're a great drive straight out of the box.

Lovely. Had the same as a courtesy car the other week whilst mine was in for annual oil change and was very impressed.

Had a quick blast this morning and although my last car was a 550bhp per ton Caterham I have to say I'm not disappointed in how she goes when pushed cool Looking forward to experimenting in the dry.

Yep I'd agree with that. They did everything they said they would and everything happened when they said it would. From a factory order to driving away was 6.5 weeks.

Yep, I used Solihull, very happy with their service. Great choice, good to see someone not choosing the near obligatory white combined with 20" satin rims.

+ 1 Great colour.

I think the S/non-S argument is a pretty close one given the cost difference, so would never think less of a car for it having the smaller engine.

That's great, and as you say all the toys are not necessary, I would and in fact have when buying new only ordered the important extras, ie heated seats on my boxster, leather, that's about it, my current boxster has Bose and I have never switched it on! I had no choice it was used, Mike
