I'm looking at doing that as well, also going to do the Cayman badge, tail pipes & heat shield trim also in black.

Wulfy66 — mild amnesia — I remembered I asked this on another forum.

The code is 041 — which is basically Porsche standard black

Thanks! I may try and obtain some used Black mirrors if I can find some unmarked ones, then I can always put the green ones back on if I want to return it to original state.
I picked up the black Cayman S badge today £100.60 which was very expensive but I had bought a used standard one which I intended on painting black but seeing how fiddly it is going to be to replace the sticky stuff I took the easy option.

New vents were about 35 each — new mirror covers about 100 each total (they come in two parts — make sure you get both)

I am doing the same and storing the green ones.

The only thing I am going to have bite the bullet with is the fixed rear aerowing — don't want to know how much one of those costs.

I'm not trying to pass it off as an R

It already has the Porsche aerokit and the bright colours look better with a bit of contrast on them — taking inspiration from the R models I've seen the wing looks good black — along with the other bits to compliment it.

Do you have the part numbers for the mirror covers and the vents?

Cheers!

Black is definitely better. I want to go for black mirrors and wheels at some point. I quite fancy the Cayman wing like yours in black too.

It's part of the turbo conversion.

TPC Racing

Edit: That link is to the Stage 2 kit, mine has the Stage 1, but the exhaust is the same.
