what exhaust ?
Discussion
Not sure if you have a Boxster or a Cayman, but there's a Remus exhaust for a Cayman in the classifieds.

No connection with the seller BTW, just picked up on it whilst looking myself

+1 for the Carnewal. I went to Belgium over Easter and had one fitted to my Gen 1 Cayman S. It's a modified factory exhaust so looks completely standard externally. Very important to me was that it should not drone when cruising on the motorway and it's absolutely fine in this respect but has a really nice sound when accelerating. Highly recommended.
There are two purchase options, either Gert will ship it to you subject to payment of a deposit on your old one until you ship it back, or go to him to get it fitted (and make a weekend of it as he's not far from Bruges and Brussels).
Whatever exhaust system you chose, if you go the DIY installation route, you need to be prepared to deal with broken/seized studs where the exhaust attaches to the manifolds. The experts get these out with an oxy acetylene torch and a hammer and punch but it took me around 8 hours to remove 6 studs using grinder/drills/dremel tool and much swearing, when I removed the old exhaust to change my clutch a few weeks before the exhaust swap.

Potential thread hijack, so apologies in advance.
Anyone have any ideas about making a PSE louder? Love the noise I get, but would prefer more of it! Is it possible to remove the rear cats on a PSE-equipped car and, if so, what do you replace them with? Ideally would just want a pipe to go where they were.
Also, any views on induction mods?

Fabspeed header? Think that do two types... you would need to check about legality. Think they are happy to answer emailed questions.Anyone have any ideas about making a PSE louder?
