Hi guys

Recently bought a '56 Cayman S and have an opportunity to fit a Milltek system without voiding the supplying dealer's warranty. Does anyone out there have a positive experience and would recommend? In most of the other forum posts it seems to get drowned out by Remus system (no pun intended!) - which I think might be a bit showy for me - so I am trying to gather intelligence.

Interested in any/all thoughts.

I had a 987.1 S recently with their Option 1 I think (back boxes and the secondary cats, which look like ordinary silencer boxes - the other option includes main cats) and it sounded quite nice but not too loud (my 996 3.4 with PSE and a K&N airbox sounds better and significantly louder). It's quite a subtle upgrade, and I would imagine is very broadly appealing (as opposed to really loud ones that put quite a lot of people off).

I have a Cayman S Milttek for sale in the classifieds if you're interested. I'll try and dig the link out when I'm near my laptop.

Otherwise, PM me and I'll send some info over.

Edit: the advert seems to have gone- I'll re upload it and post the link- hope that doesn't break any forum rules?

Thanks,
Andrew

Thanks thegoose, just the sort of feedback I was after.

Andrew - not sure how to PM but I may well be interested. Drop me a message with the details.

Not a Miltek fan myself, and would never buy one after once having one.
Very poor quality and always 1st to market on a new model so not sure how they can get every thing tested.
Every one I know who has had one has cracked.

But that's just IMHO

I've sent you a message, but here's the link to my advert in any case: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/parts-and-p...

Thanks again,
