I Apologise for being lazy, but can anyone advise the best known/recommended insurance companies for Boxsters.

I am a lucky boy and about to take delivery of a new Boxster S, so need to get the right insurance sorted, to include business use. I am told it will be astronomical to put it on our fleet policy.

Thanks

apology accepted but I don't get the need for these questions.

Why would a boxster be different to any other car? Just use confused.com and all the usual supermarkets.

any individual here will have different circumstances to you, and so their inusrer might not be best for you

This request will probably prompt numerous recommendations, but just to get the ball rolling, try
Pace Ward and Mannings.

I am asking the question because my colleague just got a 911 4S and is paying £2k through Admiral...which seemed steep to me. I know it`s an open market, but sometimes some specialist give a better rate...I got a great deal through Ford Insure with my old Mk2 RS for example.

Try Hastings Direct they were very competitive for my Cayman S.

Put all your details into Compare The Market and see what it comes up with.

Impossible to know whether that is expensive or cheap without knowing more details about 'your colleague'.

What I do know is that Admiral have been excellent to deal with for my wife's recent claim, have insured my brand new Cayman S loan car for £300 and were going to charge around £450 for my 991 GT3.

My experience to date has been very good.

Asset Trust are very competitive, especially good deals for Tipec members as it's their sponsor.
Worth the £25 a year membership

Sorry if I appeared short but I don't get it - unless you are the same age, live in same street, have the same profession and identical driving records how is his quote applicable to you?

So did you get any good quotes?

I used gocompare, 15000miles PA parked on road, inc business use and they came up 75+ quotes ranging from a few hundred to thousands. In the end I chose Admiral.
