Phone and Iphone Music solution for Cayman S with BOSE

Apologies if this has been covered previously, I tried good old search and a lot of the info is old ( so maybe out of date).

The missus has an 08 Cayman S with the telephone SIM card system and BOSE.

I want a system that you can plug in an IPHONE to for music and also for calls. The problem seems to be getting a system that will integrate with the BOSE system so the sound for music is as good as the CD/Radio.

Can anyone suggest the best solution? I looked at a Parrot 9100 but was told it was not compatible with the PCM?

Have not been disappointed. Uses PCM's telephone functionality to make calls or can be made from phone. True BT streaming of music to BOSE system. Phone book sync, mute etc etc. Black box install behind PCM so no visible intrusion of Dashboard. Need Coding change by OPC or good Indie to enable PCM's CDC functionality (as it used this feature)

I've got the Mobridge unit installed in an 07 Cayman S with Bose.

iPod or iPhone sit in glove box and stream music via a cable. Phone calls are via Bluetooth. All works, integrates and sounds great with one exception and that is when you view the phone book it only brings back the first 100 or so entries.

You need to have the PCM programmed to ignore the CD multi changer as this is how the mob ridge is connected. The guys at cartronics in Byfleet sorted mine out for me and would recommend them if you're down this way.

does the BT streaming of music from the iphone ever stall or fade out? i am concerned this will not be as good as lightening connection....this one is great price though.

No never, if I did not know it had been installed I'd been none the wiser that it was an after market solution. I have an active Brodit mount installed alongside centre console (just clips in).

So I have iPhone in view, being charged and held securely. I can use PCM to control track playback, make a call or use iPhone's controls.
