Boxster 987 Clutch Microswitch

I have a Porsche Boxster 987 57 plate and recently depressing the clutch to start doesn't always work.
I understand a microswitch needs to be replaced on/near the clutch pedal and around £65 to fit.
Anyone else experienced this ?
