New 05 boxster S owner

Hi
I am new owner of a 05 boxster S after 2 years of dreaming and am well chuffed with the car. However when putting the roof down the clamshell or roof cover doesnt shut properly and stays about an inch too hich above the body can anyone help with this?

Hi and welcome.

Is it only on a particular side of the clamshell that it sits proud or is it uniform across the entire trailing edge?

Unfortunately it's uniform the whole clamshell is proud. I have noticed having a quick look at the roof that there's seems to be an elastic strap snapped on the drivers side also
