The sales 'exec' certainly knows the old chestnuts.
Regardless it’s the same car that’s had another owner put a few hundred miles on it. The exec is the one that has looked after me since my first GT4 purchase and my current 4RS order.
I know 2 more 4RS have been allocated for September and October build with a different northwest OPC. I’m guessing others have had the same.
Mine started production today, was scheduled for 20th of June but today was the actual day according to the my Porsche app.
Looking like September collection, can’t wait!

I think mine was scheduled for production start on June 20th as well. I'll try not to think about that too much tomorrow, but I had noted that it didn't
start on the expected date!

I'm slightly envious, but hopefully not too far behind you on the production line.

My email came through at 8.05pm. I’d check again as yours may have updated also.
What spec have you gone for?

Your delay may be a good thing as you will get the new 74 plate and 2025 model. Nothing worse than getting a late 24 plate.

Post shutdown September build cars are being finally specced this week.

What spec is yours if you don't mind sharing?

Black, black wheels, pccb, lift, weissach, Bose, Pdls, Chrono, smoking pack, grey belts and interior.
Mine will be a 74 plate but I’m sure it will be a MY24 as it started production today.
September build cars are likely to arrive towards the end of the year.

New model years start in mid-end June , use to be September over 10 years ago. So your car most likely a 25MY

I didn’t realise that, would my OPC be able to confirm at this stage? I have a chassis number now.
Thanks

The chassis number will confirm model year, I think the letter S is MY25 now

Interestingly not all 4 Rs are built in Stuttgart which is also a letter S , some have a K as place of build? Also noted from cars on OPC chassis numbers are not uniform seem to be over the place?

28 GT4RS now on the OPC approved site, two without images, one a new high spec car at list .... and almost half at less than 1100 miles.

So it looks like porsche Wolverhampton couldn’t find a buyer for a new car build gt4rs allocation and are the first to sell a new GT car at list for a number of years!

They went balls out on the spec!
Not available until September.... I asked back in May, and was offered a Taycan Turbo S first, so it isn't that easy....

Nope, still nothing. Spec is:

White, Black aluminium wheels, Weissach pack + WP interior in grey, Club Sport with steel cage, front lift, Chrono, leather column shroud, black seat belts and door pulls, home link, smoking package. I think that was about it.

Nearly got brave enough for non-WP, but if I remember right, it disallowed some things I wanted. And of course, exposed carbon fibre looks so lovely against white paint!

K means the Osnabruck factory yep? Apparently more attention to detail and quality control at that factory.

My car is due to enter production on 23th August, and showing delivery to dealership on 18th September…

Out of interest, how much slippage either way are you folks seeing on build and delivery?

Mine entered production 1st July and shows delivery between 23rd July - 29th August.

Sales exec thinks it will be towards the later date. I’d be surprised if yours arrives in September but hope it does for you. The wait is painful
