Ask at a few OPCs. E.g. I know one of last weekend that has a Gentian Blue WP, with Blue Wheels coming in... Non-CS though.
Where is that one? Bar the blue wheels sounds perfect.Anyone else interested in this specific car please pm me. It is still available.

Tend the think a non CS WP 4 RS would be a very brave purchase.
.
Tbf, i said the same when i saw the spec sheet. But it will suit somebody’s taste. .
Wheel colour change is easy and if you really want a cage and harnesses that can also be done very well with Manthey parts or other aftermarket.

Wouldn't bother me, I just need to know if can live with it on trips to Europe or if too hardcore compared to GT4, hoping next weeks hire car will prove the point either way. This is in German, but you turn on translated subtitles.
One of best videos i think showing how the car sounds on the road/autobahn cruising at 75-85mph.
Of course it has less sound deadening than GT4 so you’re going to get more road noise. But as for engine…. Non-issue, if you have PSE off and not burying the throttle. If you drive around with lead boots its going to obviously respond in kinds.
It’s an RS.

I didn’t bother with CS on my WP car. Unlike the gt3/RS you don’t need the cage to tie your harnesses to as the mounts are under the carpet on the bulkhead. The cage on the 4RS just adds unnecessary weight which is at the highest point of the car. And the fire extinguisher is the passenger footwell also adds unnecessary weight. The harnesses are easily available and you can get them in other colours direct from scroth if you don’t option them when you spec the car
Hi JP. Do you track your car with a harness but no cage? I had heard some track day organisers don't allow this and insist you wear the normal 3 point belt.JulierPass said:

Unnecessary weight? I’d say roll protection.TDT said:

Thanks, will watch this evening, I think will be fine, will get to drive on everything from autobahn to mountain passes next week so give us the full picture, as you say it’s an RS & the noise etc is a big part of the attraction. I know that with GT4 you only got the harness preparation on bulkhead/engine firewall and in the floor pan, if you had a clubsport car. Is that not the case for 4RS then? I guess it makes sense if they are all CS spec regardless as the BIW for 4RS is totally unique anyway with 991 C4S front end box section. But it would be change.
Personally, Harnesses = Hans + Cage for me.

Following the relatively low number of UK 4RS allocations now confirmed in the final quarter of 2023 it is now looking like there aren't too many 4RS/Spyder allocations remaining for this year either in fact both OPCs I deal with will individually only be receiving 2 further cars of each model.
Other interesting point contrary to recent theories is that the 4RS and Spyder will simultaneously cease build around May or June 2025 and at this point at least there will be no late additional colours or PTS slots on the 4RS..... unsure about the SRS but can't see any difference tbh.
Had rather been hoping the rather attractive Vanadium grey currently available on the SRS will be become available on the 2025 model 4RS but unfortunately it appears not.
Just read that there might be a pleasant surprise for you around the corner for MY25. Rather annoyingly

Road cars have airbags ....... why the Hans ? unless there is a full cage
Because if you have an accident with harnesses but no HANS, your body is held firmly in place but your head isn't, so the forces on your neck are much stronger than if you were using a 3-point seat belt. I would't want to rely on an airbag bracing my head, while restrained in a harness. It is there mainly to stop you faceplanting in to the steering wheel.GT3cs said:

Have you any inside info on SRS new colours for MY25 ? Rather annoyingly

Turns out that it hasn't so far.
£695 on 4.0 GTS? great price for such a lovely shade IMO.
Would definitely have been a top pick.
