Beware - the mag wheels are prone to scoring with debris caught between the PCCB calliper and the wheel inner. More obvious on the darker coloured wheels. Some OPC’s have requested replacement wheels at owners cost come part-ex!

Yep even though he constantly mixes up his references to GT4s and GT3s (as per the 4RS review) his old school clipboard type reviews are always worth watching in a world of increasingly tedious and shouty videos posted by those with little car knowledge and experience more interested in self promoting themselves.

The SRS does look a great package especially with the roof on..... apart from the actual joke functioning and major faffing around to put up and put down of the roof in the first place. Interesting HM claims the car has the same db noise levels with the hood both up or down which appears to confirm previous reports about excessive wind noise with the hood up.

Reckon the SRS in lighter colours at least lends itself more suitably than the 4RS to non WP given the black roof. Still looks great in CW/red bits imo reminds me of my almost identical spec 981 Spyder and no coincidence the most popular colour on the 987 Spyder was white.

Wow lol... yes, I was looking forward to it, it did not disappoint. I did 3k miles over 8 months and now, what? Am I meant to keep this in the stable for all of eternity now? If anyone knows how to put a clown emoji on here, please let me know rotaterotaterotate

I have no hate for you personally, your sale is just part of the 'game' I hate.

You already have a 992 GT3 Touring, and a 4RS. So my questions is if you hadn't been allocated and bought those, would you have kept the SRS longer if it was your only 'halo' car?

Why should you be allocated and given 3 'halo' cars to own at the same time, when others get denied just one? You are then in a position to drive it for a very short while, and take no financial hit whatsoever, whilst others who want the cars are forced to pay overs + then get hammered on the false depreciation.

As said, I have no hate for you, as you do actually drive your cars, it's just the undertones of how you got these cars which sticks a bit, so when I see it for sale after such a short period of time (regardless of milage), it makes me roll my eyes a bit.

I completely understand and agree with your frustration as many feel the same way toward me, including many of my friends who also hate me lol - however, Porsche are a business so why wouldn't they give their preferred models to the customers who buy lots of cars? I have bought lots and lots of cars over many years and have throughly enjoyed the whole experience so no brown envelops going on here if that's what you're referring to. 'I don't have all the tea in china' so cars will come and go as I can't afford to keep everything.

Why should i be given Halo cars? They're many others like me who buy lots of cars and I'm sure they'd all agree that we have 100% lost more money than any overs, but I do enjoy my cars too and thats the bottom line - its not and has never been a money making experience for me. I bought a low mileage Speedster in 2021 and immediately took it into Europe for a 8 day hoon and it was one of my best experiences - I did all this expecting to loose 20-30k however the market did a U-turn which no-one predicted. Ultimately, if I look back at the monies lost, I'd have been better off (financially) paying overs for the GT stuff if that was my sole aim, but like I said, I've enjoyed the whole experience.

The cars you mention are a small snapshot of the cars I've had over the years. My 3RS arrived at dealership last week which must be 18 months after the first few were delivered so its not like I always get the first, it's down to pot luck sometimes but either way that'll be on track soon enough (it'll be very hard to miss).

In response to your question- the touring was sold last year (owned for 11 months) so not part of the equation. I still have the 4rs as its a special thing (could have sold this 2 years ago for 250-300k) but now list (ish). So yes, if it was my only halo car, I would have kept it as its outstanding but I have other cars enroute so it won't be driven as much if at all. I've enjoyed it but as i said, i can'tafford to keep everything. The cost of ownership for me on the SRS was about £14k in the 8 months, so I'm not exactly reeping any overs on it, quite the contrary in fact and it has gone back to the supplying OPC.

Cheers smile
